It is the Time of The Year That Almost All Kids Cant Wait For - Back To School season.

The summer is coming to an end and the parents are eager to send the kids back to school. One thing stands in the way though. School clothes and school supplies need to be bought. Usually it isn't that big a deal but parents like to wait until the last minute for those back to school sales.

Some things that the student will need will vary with their ages but one thing they all need is school clothes. Depending on the school there is some clothes that have to be purchased like school uniforms, like I had in the catholic school that I attended as a kid.

Clothes are expensive especially if you have more than one kid in school. Odds are you just came back from summer vacation and funds are limited. That's ok, I have been there myself. There are a few ways that you can save money on school supplies.

First thing you need to do is get a list together. The school will usually supply this for you but if not go to staples where they will have a list from other schools. Just choose the appropriate grade level as you are good to go. If you are heading off you college see the Ecampus banners on the right.

You can take a walk around Staples and see if you can find stuff that is not so expensive. Then you can take the list home and go to a site like EBay and have the supplies shipped to you at a discount. Odds are you know your kids friends parents, if so mention it to them that you are getting your supplies on EBay and they might do that also. You can buy the items in bulk and split them up between the kids.

Now for school clothes it depends on what part of the country you live in that dictates what type of clothes you are going to buy. I know up here in the Northeast you need a good warm coat because the weather changes fast. 

If your kid is anything like mine they want the latest North Face jacket. Last year I spent a lot of money on the three jackets I purchased. Yes I bought one for myself too, who can blame me those things are warm.
