Your IPod Shows Your Fashion Sense So Make It Look Cool
The word “cool” was reinvented since the introduction of the Apple iPod. This portable mini-machine’s minimalist design has set the world on fire as it just oozes with appeal. Coupled with the amazing functionality it professes in playing mp3 music with digitally clear quality, and the iPod instantly became Apple’s newest flagship product. Testament to its success is the fact that everyone these days wants to have an incarnation of this engrossing gadget. Actually if you have one already you are in the market for some of the cool accessories that are made for the device that changed the way we listen to music.
Naturally, as with every little thing that we have grown to love, we would like to make the most out of the experience it can provide. The iPod is being marketed as a kind of lifestyle, and to fully enjoy this “lifestyle,” some complements would be very nice. Primary on every iPod owner’s wish list is – believe it or not – a set of iPod socks. These come in a variety of colors to complement whatever outfit you decide to wear. Some colors are conventional enough for more formal occasions. Others have a funkier feel to denote a more carefree attitude. A set of iPod socks come in 6 pieces, with the colors green, purple, blue, orange, pink and grey. Of course, the primary purpose of iPod socks is to protect the iPod itself from scratches and dirt. These won’t change the color of the iPod itself, though. Apple has yet to release casings for their default iPod devices, save for those that come with special releases like the U2 special edition iPod that can be procured in elegant and striking red and black casing. There are some third party manufacturers, however, that offer iPod casings for the gadget. But make sure that they are authorized by Apple and that they come with a seal of quality to ensure that they are good enough for your hard earned cash. If you have money to spare and a home theatre set up in your room, and if your IPod's capacity is big enough to store movies, you might want to invest on the iPod Universal Dock. The Universal Dock is an all-in-one solution that would instantly plug in your little machine and would allow you to view any video file on the big screen. You may also use the more powerful speakers of your home theatre setup to listen to your mp3s. Sold separately is a Universal Dock remote control for easier shifting of files and a more convenient enjoyment. A more affordable solution are specialized AV cables for your iPod. These would also allow your portable gadget to plug into your television either directly or through the Universal Dock. Of course, you’d have a more limited connectivity, but at least you’d solve the problem of wanting to get the most out of your iPod experience. If your iPod is capable of storing photos, like the iPod Nano for example, you might find good use for the Camera Connector. The Camera Connector would, well, connect your iPod to any digital camera, allowing for smooth transfer of images between the two devices. No need for Bluetooth or infrared technology. Transfer would be facilitated smoothly and securely through the interconnecting cables. If you want to transfer files from your PC to your iPod or vice versa, then a USB cable is for you. This is vital, especially for mp3s that are offered for download on your desktop or laptop, and for preserving some space on the iPod itself. Even 4GB can be insufficient these days, after all. Just remember, unlicensed downloading of mp3s and other media files is considered as piracy, and is actually illegal. These are the most essential add-ons for your iPod. You could enjoy the iPod straight from the box, of course, but to truly savor all that it could promise, the accessories mentioned above are very much worth considering.
